For some reasons I don’t know, the images I have uploaded and posted just don’t show.
They show up in the homepage of my photoblog but if I click to open them in the post page I get a message “NOT FOUND Apologies, but we were unable to find what you were looking for.”
The files are in my media gallery, I can edit them in Edit Post interface but again when I click on Preview changes I get the same NOT FOUND message!
I am new to WP and I just arrived when 3.1 was released, since then I have had quite many oddities!!!!!
    Not very satisfied at now……..

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

I have Autofocus+ child theme and Thematic parent theme.
I just realized that it depends on the Permalinks structure; I had changed it to “Numeric” and started to hve problems.
Now that I turned it back to “Default”, images are showing normally in posts.
Is this behavior correct? I mean, am I doing something wrong with permalinks?

p.s. don’t know why but the link button won’t display my blog site url…
    it’s blog.imaginevenice.com

This INCLUDES links that break when you have category in the URL

You may need to let WP regenerate your .htaccess.
    Read https://dre.im/if-pages-return-a-404-after-wordpress-3-1-upgrade

Plugins cause this too. Especially anything screwing around with permalinks or rewrites. Note – Simple Tags has issues with 3.1. so deactivate it or turn off ‘active tags for pages’
