    Hi Folks,

I use the Cloudinary plugin to serve most of our images.

However, I serve all social media images direct from our own server and I’d like to improve on their quality.

I was wondering if ImageMagick Engine will still work with Cloudinary present, as cloudinary interacts directly – as far as I know – with the WP Media Library.

The reason our media images served directly is that we had hot-linking problemss, so restricted Cloudinary images to our domain only. Serving the social media images directly, was the easiest workaround.

    Regards and thanks,
    Angus

    Hi,

I think there should be no problems. ImageMagick works when image is uploaded and sizes are generated. These files are then synced to Cloudinary (after ImageMagick Engine has done it’s part) if you use that feature in their plugin.

    Thank you for that Richard!
How Cloudinary works is a mystery to me….. and it seems to change a lot of stock WP.
I shall now install ImageMagick Engine with confidence ??

    Regards and thanks,
    Angus
