Is Header Footer Builder Compatible with Elementor 3.6.0

    I have a warning from Elementor saying that the next update is a critical update with major changes, and says that the Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin has an unknown status in terms of compatibility. Can you tell me if there is any issue with this update?

  • Not for me. Broke the site updating to 3.6.0 and deactivating this lets it load again.

    I want to know the same. Is compatible or not? I see in last update that there is compatible with Elementor Pro, and the Free?

    Hi, it’s not. It was working just fine on my dev site until Elementor was updated. It no longer loads. I guess we’ll have to wait until the issue is fixed.

    UPDATE: I was able to get it to work after re-saving my permalinks. You could also try changing your permalink structure temporarily.

    @ratacross please elaborate on “re saving my permalinks” How exactly did you fix this issue?

    1) Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
    Don’t change anything, just click SAVE CHANGES. That will re-generate your page urls and, hopefully, solve the issue.

    2) If the above didn’t work, then… Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
    Try changing the settings to PLAIN or any other option different to the one you’re using and click SAVE. If that fixed the issue, then change the settings back to what they were before and SAVE again.

    This fixed the issue on my website but I don’t know if it’s a global solution. Good luck!

    @ratacross thanks for the explanation. This unfortunately didn’t work for me. I still cannot edit a page in elementor with the plug in activated. So Frustrating!
