I have the catalog but I do not have a feed. I have 2 questions:

    1. Is having a feed require on Facebook commerce manager?
    2. More importantly, is having a Facebook shop required in order to be able to remarket on Facebook ?

    Hi @mreespinosa,

Having a feed is not required to use our plugin for remarketing on Facebook. You can use it to install Facebook pixel?to support retargeting ads, find new customers, and track ad effectiveness.

    Learn more here: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/.

Regarding the second question, Facebook would be the better suited to guide you there as that lies entirely on their end.

I hope this helps so far!

If no shop is required, what exactly is required in order to run remarketing ads on the Facebook platform? This is all I have:

    Hi @mreespinosa,

If no shop is required, what exactly is required in order to run remarketing ads on the Facebook platform?

To run remarketing ads on the Facebook platform, you need a Facebook Page, a Facebook Ad Account, and a Facebook Pixel installed on your website.

This Pixel will track visitor behavior on your site, allowing you to target these visitors later with Facebook ads. You can find more details from this guide.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I looked at the website you provided but I don’t see an explanation or guide on how to remarket. Can you explain?

    Hi @mreespinosa,

I’m no expert in remarketing, but from what I’ve seen, by setting up a Facebook Pixel, you can track visitors on your website, and then you can create ads about the products you sell so they see your products advertised on Facebook ads.

    Maybe this would help: https://woocommerce.com/posts/facebook-woocommerce-extension/.

    Cheers!

    Hi @mreespinosa

No, we don’t currently have any videos because they fall outside of our support. However, you can easily find comprehensive tutorials on Google or YouTube. Here are a few for you:

Thank you. I have about 1,300 products but I am only interested in promoting and remarketing 1. How can we do that?

    Hi there @mreespinosa,

I do understand you’d like to set up some Ad campaigns on Facebook, and have these remarket to interested customers, which is a great approach.

The Facebook for WooCommerce plugin provides the ability to feed your products from WooCommerce into Facebook. This allows you to control information about your products on the WooCommerce side, but also to have them as a catalog on the Facebook side for the purpose of creating ads.

If you wish to create an ad campaign, you don’t necessarily need to have a full shop on the Facebook side, but you will need to connect to a catalog in order to push product information from WooCommerce into Facebook. This will create a data feed that then also pushes information on product updates onto the Facebook side.

You would then use this catalog to build ads.

If you have not yet connected a catalog and set up a data feed (sounds like you have not), then you can do that under Marketing > Facebook, on the “Connections” tab. I would also recommend connecting the Business Manager and Ads Manager to make it easier to create ads, and you will need to connect the Facebook Pixel if you wish to target specific visitors to your website.

Then, you can build your ad campaign on the Facebook side, here’s a little information on how to do that:

    Hope that is clear!
