Is Graphy being supported and kept updated?

    I have a (fairly inactive) website that I had been using Graphy Pro on for a couple of years. Recently this site has had all kinds of outages and issues. My webhosting company suggested it might be the theme causing all the problems. I have temporarily changed to 2021 theme (mostly to prove to them I don’t think it’s Graphy Pro) but in the process, they noted that Graphy has not been updated since March 2021, and has not been tested with the current WordPress version 5.8.

    I love the look of Graphy and hate to have to find something new, but would sure feel more comfident if it was being supported and updated regularly. I’m planning on ramping up activity on this website and was hoping to be able to keep Graphy on it.

    I’m not looking for help solving my tech issues on my website, just hoping to get some answers on whether this theme will be updated soon.

    Hello,

    Graphy/Graphy Pro is not actively being updated, but it is being updated to support the latest version of PHP and WordPress. If you have any specific issues, please let me know.

    I appreciate your answer. Am I to understand then that it is not being updated for security vulnerability patches? I paid $49 in April of 2019 for the Pro version, and honestly, I expected it would be kept supported and kept secure and updated. Can I ask why it is not being actively updated?

    Again, I’d really like to keep using Graphy Pro, but if it’s not being actively supported, I’m not sure I can continue. Maybe you can help me understand.

    Sorry, I hadn’t noticed your reply.

    Updates for security will continue to be made (although our themes are simple and following WordPress standards, so it has never needed to be updated for security before).

    What I meant to say is that we will make updates that can be used safely with the latest versions of PHP and WordPress, but we do not plan to add any new features.
