    Hi Hesham,

Thanks for the awesome plugin. It is showing me correct markup except one error which is arising due to featured image.

    1. I don’t use featured images on my blog at all. Is it possible to remove this error for those who don’t use featured image?

    2. Also, It will be great if you can include markups for

    • Breadcrumb llists and
    • SiteNavigation Elements

Ok, I think I got the answer for first question.
No, it is not mandatory to use featured images. It is just that your plugin wants one image in a blog post whether featured or not.

    Please answer the 2nd question.

    Thank You!

    Hi @ankurj ,

To answer the question in your title, Google require image (ImageObject) property for some types of Article, this means it’s not mandatory for all types, so the way to know is to test the markup in the Rich Snippets Testing Tool to find out.

    1) The Schema plugin use the Featured image, but if there is no Featured image assigned to the post, it will look in the content and try to find an image to use as the Article image.

There is no way to remove this error since it’s required by Google itself as shown in the Structured Data Testing Tool.

    2) I will see what I can do about Breadcrumb and SiteNavigation, this may be added in a future update.

P.S If you like the plugin, consider adding a quick review.
