Is FAQ content indexable by search engines?

  • I am trying to understand if all of the content we’ve created for FAQs using this plugin is “visible” to search engine crawlers and will be indexed, even if it is “hidden” in accordions or whatnot.

    Google has never released any official guidelines surrounding how it treats hidden text. However, over the past 4 years, Google’s Gary Illyes has indicated on online forums that hidden content is crawled and indexed but will be given less weight in the rankings.
