Is Events Manager compatible with PHP 7.1

  • My hosting service (Siteground) is requiring us to use PHP 7.1, but they determined that Events Manager is not compatible with PHP 7.1. Do you guys have a timeline for compatibility? Thanks

  • EM is very compatible with 7.1. Been running it for months now, as have many other users. ?? So Siteground is very wrong in telling you that.

    Do not update to a higher version of PHP yet, though. There are still some quirks with EM and PHP > 7.2.

    I’ve used SiteGround for a few years. As of last week, I let them choose the newest overall stable PHP level, which evidentially is 7.1 for now. I personally have never had a problem with EM at any PHP level. Nor have I ever heard or read that SiteGround questioned compatibility.

    I have a test server that is on Siteground and it is running at PHP 7.1 and never had any issues with it.

    It seems that you’re using an old version of the plugin. The latest one does not trigger our compatibility checks. Can you give me your site URL so I can double check it?
