Is Deleting Duplicate Copy of WPPP from Plugins OK?

Somehow I downloaded two copies of WPPP. One is active and one inactive.
When I click to delete the inactive copy — I get a message asking if I want to delete lots of files.
Is there ANY change that deleting the inactive version will cause my stats to disappear?
