Is BWPS reporting itself writing to .htaccess?

  • I have selected the following BWPS options:

    — Allow BWPS to write to WordPress core files
    — Prevent users and scripts from writing to .htaccess
    — Away mode, with access only within a 12-hour period
    — Report files that have changed

    When I see in a report that my .htaccess (in the root directory) has been changed — and the change occurred during my selected ‘away’ time, can I assume that it was BWPS security writing to the file that caused that change report?
