Is Backup Retention Exclusive to the Pro Version?

    First off, thank you for this fantastic plugin.

    I encountered an issue while attempting to use WPvivid’s backup retention feature on two websites hosted on a server running OpenLiteSpeed web server. My goal was to maintain a specific number of backups for each site, but unfortunately, the retention feature didn’t operate as expected. Despite setting the retention option to maintain 3 and 2 backups respectively for the two websites, the feature failed to function as intended. This was compounded by the fact that the plugin doesn’t delete old backups automatically, resulting in the gradual consumption of disk space over time.

    So, I need to verify if the retention feature is only available in the Pro version? I believe it is available in the free version too with the ability to set it to 3 backups maximum.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    The free version allows you to keep 3 backups in maximum. The pro version allows you to keep unlimited backups of different types.

    In your case, it is recommended that you check whether the cron systems of the websites are properly working, because the plugin deletes backups using a cron job.

    I will investigate further, although it seems odd to encounter the same issue with two websites on two different servers.
