Is Backup Restore plugin outdated?

I one clicked the backup restore plugin by Mark Ghosh. I didn’t see any “backup” link in wp admin. I read the text file and it says it’s for wp 1.0. And the directions ask to edit a menu.txt file, which doesn’t exist. Does anyone use this? Why didn’t the oneclick work? Why doesn’t the link show in wp admin? If so, where is it? In options?
