Is anyone getting support from VFB Pro?

  • There are several of us who have reached out to VFB Pro over the last couple of months with no answer. We are worried that the plugin is no longer being supported. Does anyone have any insight into this? I hate to move all of my clients off of VFB Pro and find another solution, but it seems like there is no other choice. Has anyone heard from Matthew recreantly?

  • Nope. Even tried reaching out on Twitter. Been trying for months. Ended up switching plugins. No other choice.

    I found his email address at the University of Alabama. I just sent a message to him (Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 4:13 pm CST). Let’s see if he responds.

    I just paid for VFB Pro a couple of weeks ago. If it is no longer supported, it should be removed.

    Hi ?? also tried that on july 18th and never received an answer. I’ve found this article that stated they reached out to the developer and that he is not planning to release updates for the plugin.

    I agree that this plugin should be removed from the repository and that he has to take down the pro website if that’s really the case.

    Did anyone get any resolution on VFB plug in issues and problems – really sad that this plugin seems to be abandoned by the sound of it – can anyone here recommend a similar free plugin contact form that is light weight and works simply and in a similar way – guess we will have to find an alternaive as we rolled back to older version of the plug in, but this will probably cause issues soon with the newer updats of WordPress etc.

    The developer is no longer answering any emails. I even found his work email address and he did not respond. I switched to Formidable Forms and it works great.

    He needs to reimburse us then, what is WordPresses policy regarding him taking payment for a plugin he does not support.

    @livedigitalza, I agree. Do they still have it listed for purchase? I paid for it after it was no longer supported but I didn’t know it wasn’t supported.
