Is adding only one html page on a WordPress site possible?

Hi,

I just recreated an old html site in WordPress.
Unfortunately the privacy policy page now has a different url as it no longer ends with .html.

Client has an app in Google play and now it nags that there is no valid link anymore to the privacy policy. As he can no longer access his app, he can not change that link in the app.

Is there any way to have only have one html page so the old link to the html privacy policy page, can be retrieved?

The old link was:
https://www.smrtprojects.com/privacy_policy.html

Tried creating a page in WordPress, but of course, it does not accept a dot in the url, and it becomes:
https://www.smrtprojects.com/privacy_policy-html

Any ideas?
