Is 1.0.38 safe to install now?

    I got setup with square today for a merchant account for our online store. I came across all of the bad reviews about the 2.0 plugin, and was curious if the rollback version, currently published, is safe to use with Woocommerce?

  • I downgraded back to 1.0.38 and none of my stock will sync with the stock on Square any more. Also customer’s orders totally fail when they try to pay by Square so it’s a total mess at the moment. I’d hold off for now….

    Version 1.0.38 is the stable version of the plugin now. As always, you should be testing plugins on a staging/development site before doing anything on the live site.

    If you come across issues while testing in a staging environment, do let us know by creating a forum post and we’ll be happy to help.

    @faracademy,

    I would create your own forum post if you’re having troubles after downgrading. Did you disconnect and reconnect Square after downgrading?
