DOES THE JOB BUT CHECK PLUGINS

  • “Any changes to the settings and the plugin fails to perform. Set it to header and you will find a set of words in the footer.

    If you leave it as is it does the job.
    The developers ought to consider either removing the options which make this plugin fail, or fix the problem. Adding translations does nothing.”

    That was my initial review.

    After going through my plugins on WordPress i found that ASYNC JAVASCRIPT will interfere with the plugin if jQuery is set to async – it’s the last option.

    Once that had been resolved the plugin works perfectly well and as it says.

    If you are having problems contact the developers – response is fast. THEN check your other plugin’s.

    It does mean that there will be a slight effect on the page speed.

    Continuing from above.

    I believe I’ve resolved the issue I’m having. It is related to another plugin i have installed ASYNC JAVASCRIPT.

    At the bottom of the settings page for this plugin it asks whether jQuery should be async or defer. It was async (improves page speed). But in order to allow this cookie plugin to work as it should it needs to be defer.

    For now all is well WITH my settings.

    Apologies, the plugin appears to be working as it should.
