• Can anyone make a plugin for this website,
    Iratemyday.com

    This is a nice site.

It’s something like twitter does. Though in this site it will show how you feel for the day. A facial expression indicator. I want that to show in my site, it does have RSS feed but I want to view the picture indicator. Hope someone out there can do this.

    Thanks..

  • The site now has an API, so it possible to program something like you ask. See this link for documentation:

    IRateMyDay API

I’ve seen other wordpress sites that do similar (not branded or served via iratemyday, but just on their own sites using their own smile graphics).

You could do it just using Custom Fields, and each day you make a post and fill in that custom field with “happy” or “overjoyed” or whatever, and then somewhere in The Loop you display that custom field (or a corrosponding graphic).

    I think there’s a Mood plugin, alternatively.

I have mood graphics as links in my… blogroll… (hate that it’s called that now). They all have category “mood.” I display that category in my sidebar. I just toggle which one I want visible at any given time. (I also miss the “toggle visibility” button.)

I made a plugin, it uses the API. You can see it in this link.
