    Thanks for the positive feedback and for your question. Thanks as well for posting the links to your example and particularly the shot of the mapping rules you are using. I suspect your problem is similar to that raised a short while ago in this topic:

    Rebel Caption Field

    The first thing to check is the “Existing Text” setting in the right-most column of the rule. The default value is “Keep” which will prevent the rule from overwriting any content already in place. Since WordPress 4.3 always fills in the Caption (as well as the Description) field, you must change this value to “Replace” for your rule to have any effect.

    My own approach was simply to create a test image that filled in all the meta data fields with a descriptive value and then dumping the resulting IPTC and EXIF fields to derive the mapping by example.
