    Hi Paul,
    I noticed my ip2nation database was being reported by your plugin as out of date. I could see no obvious way to have the plugin update it. So I simply unticked the “Localize Amazon link” option, updated settings, and then ticked that option again. This produced the error:

    =INSERT INTO ip2nationCountries (code, iso_code_2, iso_code_3, iso_country, country, lat, lon) VALUES(‘cw’, ‘CW’, ‘CUW’, ‘Cura?ao’, ‘Cura?ao’, 12.2, -68.94)=ip2nation install: Database downloaded and unzipped but failed to install []

    Although the status of the ip2nation now says:

    Your ip2nation database is up to date. (It was last updated on Thu, 30 Jul 2015 02:22:53, the latest version available is dated: Sat, 25 Jul 2015 19:28:20).

    But the box for activating it remains unticked. So I am not able to proceed with reactivating the localisation option.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Looks like I have at least figured out how to get the localisation to turn on again. I was previously trying to turn it off and then on (to force an update) in the SETUP page. I see now there are options in the SETTINGS page for the same thing. Seems to have turned on now.

    Is the above-mentioned error likely to cause any issues?

    Hi,

    The plugin does not use the part of the database that failed to update when you did the reinstall, so it should work fine.

    I’ll look into why it does not like the line:

    INSERT INTO ip2nationCountries (code, iso_code_2, iso_code_3, iso_country, country, lat, lon) VALUES('cw', 'CW', 'CUW', 'Cura?ao', 'Cura?ao', 12.2, -68.94);

    Thanks Paul. My limited follow-up testing suggests it is working fine. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, and in developing this plugin.
