    Hi

In the last few days I have been receiving an email from Paypal saying:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

    https://exanple.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php?action=add_wpedon_button_ipn

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

I DO recognize the URL, it is coming from my site and your plugin. Obviously, it is not possible to reply the email. I have made no changes to the site and the plugin was running fi ne for at least a year.

Please hint me on what to do.

    Thanks
    Alain

    Hello Alain,
have you been able to resolve this issue?
I am also experiencing the same problem.

    Hi Philipa

    I did 2 things:

    1. I reported the email as phishing to Paypal, because I did not have any similar message in the dashboard of Paypal. Paypal never answered back. The email was properly formatted with my full name, but this not the usual way Paypal communicates with costumers. The bogus email did not show up again.

    2. I opened a firewall exception for the specific link. I use Cloudflare.

I am not sure if this was a real problem… I send money to myself and it worked fine. I am still looking if it comes again.

    Good luck!
    Alain
