iphone slider thumbnail issue

Slider thumbnails hang down on iPhone (see link). Don’t notice problem on any other browser.
I notice that when the site first opens on iphone, the slide text dips down into the slide_nav which I assume is related. However, once that first slide changes the text issue is corrected and never returns (but the thumbnail issue persists).
