iPhone Issues and Auto Zoom to Location

I am using this tool as part of a City website. We are using it to have residents identify locations of issues they would like to report. Two things I need help with.

1) I noticed there was discussion about an auto-zoom feature potentially coming at some point. Is this possible yet? We’d like to have our tool set to start up already zoomed in to our city.

2) iPhone users are experiencing some poor performance in that sometimes the map interface does not load completely. Is this a known issue?
