ipad/safari remember password problem

So this is just part of WordPress, and what this does is it basically extends the cookie you get from 1 week to 2 weeks, so it “remembers you” longer. It won’t actually store your details in there, for that you would need to save the login into the actual browser preferences.

If the issue is that Safari is not actually saving the data by itself, can you reproduce the issue yourself on your site?

I tested myself on my Ipad (and other browsers/devices) and I cannot see that issue. But a few visitors on this website complain that they cannot login twice with the same password.

I will see to extend cookie timeout inside WP.

Interesting! Yeah I would ask them for more details as it sounds like it might just be an issue with what they are doing and not with your site. I tried on my own site on Safari and didn’t have any problems.
