This is becuase you specified a fixed width of 1024 pixels in the shortcode.
You should better specify a fraction of the width like:
    [wppa type="content" album="65" size="0.88" align="center"]

    Thanks for your reply.
I’ve checked the album pages and the shortcode for them is in the form:
    [wppa type=”album” album=”53″ align=”center”][/wppa]
Am I looking int the wrong place?

I’ve also looked at Settings – Albums – Max Cover width
This is set at 1024. I’ve changed this to a smaller number, but it makes no difference.
    Should I be looking eleswhere?

OK. I’ve checked using a different ipad & it works fine.
Looking at the iPad settings there is one difference between the two:
On the iPad that doesn’t display correctly there is a setting:
Safari – Request Desktop website – On
On the iPad that does display correctly this is switched off!
    Problem (from my end) solved.
    Thank you for your assistance.

Your problem is not solved. When you make the window smaller on the pc, the right-hand images disappear. This means that the display is not responsive. You should fix that.
    Pls try [wppa type="album" album="53" size="auto"][/wppa]

    Thanks for your reply.
I’ve just checked on 3 different browsers on a Desktop PC & also on a laptop & I’m not seeing the problem.
The thumbnails which were on the right of the full screen move down to the next row when the browser window is reduced in size. No thumbnails are lost, they just rearrange themselves to fit.
I also checked on an iPad using split screen & that’s OK as well
Which browser is showing this problem? Firefox, Brave & Edge seem OK.

The link you gave: https://www.gamlingayphotos.co.uk/latest-additions/ shows the problem in firefox and chrome
