• Hi,

I made a site based on WP3.6 and TwentyEleven and it displays awfully on ipad as the theme is just splitted and main page displays almost half its size. As far as I could understand it is called responsive”!?!? I may be wrong (I hope)…

Now I rode lots of articles dealing with @media css command. I tried to implement it following some examples I found but I guess I made a mistake somewhere! Now how can I implement the @media function for mobile devices easily and effectively so it can sop splitting the page? BTW, my banner is 1200px I guess this might be a problem for devices?

Many thanks for any guidance you may provide!

  • That is not the orgoinal 2011 theme. Can you replicate the problem using the original, unedited, 2011, theme.

Indeed with the original TwentyEleven it is much better. Then which would be the css param I should take into account to preserve/guarantee right device display?

I’m afraid that’s really not possible determine via a forum. I can only suggest that you start removing customisations from your child theme until you locate the problem CSS or code.
