The IP 198.57.151.21 belong to US. You may try the lookup feature on the settings page for this IP address. What is the country value you obtained from this IP address?

I suspect your bin database happen to be corrupted. Please try downloading the latest LITE BIN database file at https://lite.ip2location.com (if you are using the LITE version), unzip and copy the file into plugins/ip2location-country-blocker. Then, rename the file to database.bin and try it again.

Please take note to download the BIN file, not the CSV format. It’s different.

I suspect you are still using the old sample BIN. The latest BIN shall return you United States as country. I have created another update to check if the old default sample BIN is used. Can you please uninstall your existing plugin, download the latest plugin, and test again?

Correct, the login credentials apparently retrieved the demo. Now i have the correct database, its returning the United States. Thanks for the excellent follow up and the new message indicating an outdated database.
