IP not captured

    Hi,

    I installed your Register IPs plugin on a single WordPress (4.7.3) site.

    I have had two spammers register on my site and it did not capture the IPs.

    If a regular user creates an account on the normal Create Account page then the IP is collected ok.

    Can bots register without giving up their IP information?
    Why were the spammers IPs not captured?

    If it didn’t capture the IPs then the bots aren’t using the default WP registration process. You may want to check if you have another plugin with a security hole.
