    Hey there,

I have two topics I would like to address,

    1. Turning on the Crypt IP Addresses option does not encrypt older IP Addresses, is there a way to do this as well?

    2. Since I set the option Crypt IP Addresses in the Options -> Filters section, I get the following error message when clicking “more info” under visits -> Last Visitor -> selecting more info of any user. It seems the script does not know that an IP can be also encrypted.
    Example:

    country xxxxxxxx more info

    OS or device: Windows 10.0
Warning: gethostbyaddr(): Address is not a valid IPv4 or IPv6 address in /home/s2bw/76VR52VD/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/newstatpress/includes/nsp_visits.php on line 267

    DNS Name:
    Browser: xxx
    Browser Detail: xxx

    Thank you for the help.

    2) good warning catch. I will correct it in next update

    Hey there,

thanks for the quick response. One last thing, can you also add a note for the Data Purge Option? It should say something like, after setting the Data Purge you should run the Optimize Database, else past data will not be cleared and the DB remains the same size.

    Cheers.

    hi,

actually it is inside the Optimize Database option that is advise to use it when Purge Option is on.

    p.s
In GIT the actual testing version 1.3.1 has point 2 corrected

    thanks

Ah I’m guessing you mean the little sentence “like with prune activated”. As a non-native speaker I did not understand it as such. It would have been clearer if said “like with data purge activated” or so. But native speakers might understand it better ??

    Thanks for the quick fix.
