IP blocked by Security Module

  • With the module Security of TML v7.x, the IP public adress of the internet box is lockout : all stations using the same box are blocked (i.e all members of family). I think it is not a good solution!
    With TML v6.x only the ID_user is blocked (with meta is_locked=1). Il is better

    A option perhaps ? IP or ID ?

    It is done this way to protect the security of all users, rather than just the one being targeted. If an attacker has a list of names, and we only lockout on a user-by-user basis, they can keep attacking another user. By IP, this is not the case.
