iP Block Country & Wordfence precedence

  • Does iQ Block Country run before or after Wordfence, if WF is also installed?
    I would like to block all backend traffic that is not from my country, and then have the free Wordfence version (no country blocking) apply additional filters/blocks thereafter.
    Is this possible?

    Hi,

    It depends, when installing iQ Block Country it tries to become the first plugin loaded by WordPress but there is no real saying when it is loaded as many plugins try to become the first.

    Thanks for the quick reply Pascal.
    Is there a way to manually influence/force the sequence in which plugins run? (is my terminology correct?)

    The stats and logs show no backend blocks but a large number of frontend blocks, but Wordfence is detecting backend attacks like XML/RPC, admin login attempts, etc.
