    HI,
I have used your plug in to handle the notification I get when a new user registers.

Wordpress’ original notification showed the user’s IP address. How can I include the IP address in your notification? Do I just need a shortcode?

    Thanks

    Hi @tradeshark2,
    Thanks for your message.

Are you referring to the email that goes to the user or the admin after a new user has registered?
Can you link to a screenshot of this?

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. It is the admin one.

I did try switching off your plug in to see what the basic WP one contains and it doesn’t give IP addresses! I am wondering if I was using a different plug before I found yours and it was that plug in that gave IP info.

    Hi @tradeshark2,
Yes, was going to say – I think this is a function of another plugin as opposed to one within WordPress. BNFW doesn’t have this functionality at present.

    No problem,
Thanks for the replies. I found a plugin that stores IP’s on the user list which is probably a more appropriate place. If it came only in an email notification I would have to find the email!
