• Hi everyone. I just recently started working on a pre-existing wordpress blog for a client. I’ve noticed that most of the pages have odd urls. the syntax is this: 0.0.0.0/~examplecom/pageurl

Which means there’s an IP address, the url of the website with a ~ symbol and no period with the .com, and then the pages url. Can I safely change these permalinks? And what would cause it to be set up like this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
