iOS bounce mistaken for scroll up

The auto-hide option works well on desktop. However, if I scroll to the bottom of the page in iOS, the page scrolls a little past the bottom then goes back to the bottom. That’s enough for Boxzilla to hide the box.

Is there any way to avoid that behavior? For example only hide if the page is scrolled up more than 100 pixels?
