iOS 7 video playback issues

in ios6 the wiredrive plug in worked great. our quick times opened as quicktimes.
in iOS7 on my ipad mini, the videos either dont open or have to go through some weird refresh thing several times.I’m guessing this is an issue with how iOS deals with video or html5 (?) — any suggestions how to keep our site cross platform.
if you wait it might play, but im worried that people (potential new clients) will not be patient enough to let them load (like i was initially) or that they wont load.
