IO Error

    I’ve created a WordPress website for a school. Everything is working fine, except at the school, when trying to upload images, an IO error occurs. It uploads fine at home. I think it probably has to do with the firewalls in place from the education department. Is there any way to get around this?

    Sorry, I can’t remember the error and won’t have access to a school computer until next week. Will get back to you ASAP.

    At the school now and not getting an error on a different computer. I’m using IE8 (that’s all the school has) and it is using the Silverlight to upload. I’m going to see if I can try it again on the other machine to see if it could be an issue with Flash, and whether installing Silverlight will fix the problem…

    I think it would be better to download and use Firefox browser.
