Invoice numbers go up by 2

Hello,
I’m using this plugin for a while now and from the beginning the invoice numbers go up by 2 instead of 1. So it starts with 001, then 003, then 005 instead of 001, 002, 003.
When customers get them in mail it is 001, 003, 005. When i’m in the admin paneland download it the numbers are even (002, 004, 006).
Can you help me find out why?
