Invoice Number not matching PayPal

  • Thanks for the free plugin, just wondered if you could help with the following problem I have please.

    I have set the next invoice numbering to have 100 added to the front of the invoices with the prefix ‘OS’ – (OS1001, OS1002, OS1003, etc).

    I then generated a sale through PayPal but have noticed that the Paypal Receipt shows the Invoice ID as OS1 , OS2, OS3 etc.

    Do you know why this is happening, it seems odd that it can see the prefix but not the extra ‘100’ added in front?

    Hello Ewen,
    Are you sure that this is not a separate numbering system generated by Paypal? I’m assuming the “Paypal Receipt” is not the same thing as the PDF Invoice generated by this plugin, can you check the invoice number from the PDF to see if it matches?
