Invoice and order number are not good

    Hello,

    I use the WCFM plugin for my marketplace and Woocoomerce PDF Invoice to generate the invoices that I send to my sellers (commission invoices)

    I have a problem with commission invoice numbers. To follow European regulations, these invoice numbers are supposed to follow each other, but this is not at all the case.
    – the numbers are out of order
    – when for the same order I send an invoice to each of my sellers, the invoice number is the same

    I have set up “display the invoice number” in the plugin

    My order numbers are also random, where can I change them?

    Can you help me please ?

    Hi @petitkcba,

    You could use our free Number Tools extension & search for those numbers, to get a little bit more information on what may have happened to the numbers:

    After installing this, you’ll notice the new “Number Tools” tab when going to the plugin settings at WooCommerce > PDF Invoices.

    Yes, that’s correct. Our plugin generates one invoice per order.

    Hello Darren,

    Thanks a lot for your reply and sorry for my late.

    I tried your plugin and I have several questions:
    – I think it works well on sales order invoices. But I do not invoice the customer directly, it is my salespeople who invoice. Me, I invoice the seller (commission invoice). Do you think it will still work? (I have not yet had an order to test). I use the WCFM plugin for the marketplace part and woocommerce invoice to generate the invoices

    – Can this be retroactive and generate new invoices with the correct number?

    – when for the same order I send an invoice to each of my sellers, the invoice number is the same : this shouldn’t be the case as I am invoicing two sellers on one order seeing separate invoices. They must therefore have a different number.

    Upon research, it appears that the commission invoice number is actually my vendor ID. How do I replace this ID with a real invoice number? Do you know how to replace this?

    Hello Charlotte,
    I’m afraid our plugin is not the right fit here. We don’t support WCFM – we are aware they offer some integration but unfortunately it does not meet our quality standards and the way it has been implemented on their end severely limits our ability to provide support. I recommend that you take this up with WCFM support directly, as they are in a better position to help with this.
