Invite users to events

As requested by Angelo, I’m posting my questions as separate posts.
Would like to request ability to easily invite members to events. For example:
1. Create event
2. Checkbox from list of users and/or groups to notify of the new event (or to invite)
3. Members then can RSVP by purchasing tickets, or decline by choosing “Will not attend”. Declined RSVPs are then removed from the Invite list so that other people can be invited.This is helpful for events like this:
a. Event has space for 20 people.
b. Organizer invites 20 people.
c. 5 people decline and will not go to event. Now 5 spots should be open again.
d. Organizer can now invite 5 more people.Thanks,
