Invitation Emails not being sent and JQuery Error

  • When inviting users to a group, no email is sent and nothing is visible within the ‘BuddyPress Invitations’ pages on the admin dashboard.

    On the group ‘Send Invites’ page we see a JQuery error:
    ‘Uncaught ReferenceError: jq is not defined’ on line 136 of the ‘/invite-anyone/group-invites/group-invites-js.js’

    Could this be causing the issue? Am I missing some configuration options for sending emails?
