Invitation Codes Disappeared

Well you’ll be happy to know that Redux did not delete them, of that I can assure you, I’m using a new database entry to store invitation codes, so the code that is supposed to copy them to the new location may be broken, that is a possibility. In the meantime, can you tell me if “Use invitation codes to track or authorize new user registration…” is checked in your settings? Your invitation codes should be listed with red negative icons beside them to delete and a green plus icon to add. As illustrated in the following screenshot.

iroller, did you find your invitation codes? I was curious if you knew what version of Register Plus Redux you were previously using. That would assist me in checking the migration functions.

Sorry for not replying earlier. We went back to version 3.7.3 and everything appeared again. As far as I can remember everything was checked properly and all settings after the attempted upgrade hadn’t reverted to a default. However as well as missing the list of existing codes I couldn’t see any option to add or subtract codes. I can try it again on a site that isn’t live if you want any more feedback.

If you could get a chance to test this I would appreciate it. I am working to set up a test bed to perform a test myself but haven’t had the time yet.

iroller, I have resolved this issue for the next release, I found a bug in the code that migrates the invitation codes from 3.7 to 3.9. As I said, if you choose to update to 3.9.9 you should not have this issue.
