I tagged my posts, but set them to not visible on the posts page.
Now the posts are not found in a search with a particular tag. Can this be adjusted so that the messages are still found based on the tags?

    Hi @woltersthijs,

WordPress only searches in the title and content of a post by default, so it will not include posts based on the tags and/or categories that post is in.

For example, if you have a post with the title “A” and the content “B”, and that post is tagged with a tag called “C”, a search for “C” will not return that post because WordPress only searches in the title and content of the post.

There are plugins that expand WordPress search to also look for categories, tags, authors and custom meta fields, but I don’t have one to recommend offhand.

@anlino: Thanks for your clear explanation!
I’ll see if I can find a good plugin.
