Here’s the problem shown in an image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lj8usyhab7qpr0t/InvisiblePageProblem.png?dl=0

See the page count of 11, when there are only 10 pages listed. There’s 1 page listed as ‘private’, but, when accessing that admin list, no page is listed there either.

This is a brand new install and a brand new MySQL, and nobody (as in me or husband) has put in a ‘private’ page.

I’m reluctant to venture into MySQL DB phpMyAdmin if I can avoid it. If somebody knows a quick fix for this, please advise. If not, do I just leave it alone and ignore it, or is there something going on here to worry about?

Theme is Blackoot by Iceable themes. I use it on multiple installations, and it’s not happening anywhere else.

update on this since I can’t find an edit button for the OP: This page is not a page that we created. It just appeared all by itself, and nobody has accessed the install except me.

So…I’m still awaiting some WordPress expert’s help on this? Can’t anyone guide me?

Same problem, different theme. Any luck yet?

    Found root of problem.
The Plugin WPForms creates a WPForms Preview Page with attributes set to Private.
It does not show up in Admin panel ALL PAGES view, or any other view.
If you wish to continue using WPForms, you should not delete this page.

I found it when I attached my privately hosted WordPress login to JetPack. Using the site management panel, page statistics view, all of my pages were listed, in addition there was WPFORMS Preview Page (Private) listed.

I think this is to keep you from messing with that page, but WPForms should consider a BIG FLASHING BANNER on install of the plugin explaining this. I have read several other unanswered forum posts on the same frustration.
I wasted hours trouble shooting it.

I have no reason to doubt that the problem is unique to WPForms plugin. But this is the only plug in I have experienced it on.

SO on another installation some other plugin may use a similar strategy and cause a similar problem.
Advise to check plugins if you don’t have WPForms.
    Hope this helps.

@docjerry Thank you! You know, that blipping page is still there and undeletable, even though I deleted WPForms. I think that, unless I go into the MySQL, it’s going to remain. But I totally, totally appreciate the information. And I commisserate with you on the time it takes to troubleshoot some of these issues. Sometimes it takes days and even weeks. What a waste of life, sometimes. Again, thank you!
