invisible Dropdown menu

Hello,
Today i was bussy building a form for a website, but i am stuck on an issue.
On the themes page I set the right settings yet when I go to the website I can’t see the dropdown options. When I select the dropdown menu I see all options but then when I select it it goes invisible. The question/ problem i have is that, I want the options to be visible so that people can see what they have selected.
One thing that I found out is that if I select and drag where the tekst is supposed to be. I can see the text so it is there, its just either white or invisible yet i can’t change it to normal.
