Invictus theme doesn't show sidebar

Hi there
We’ve installed the Invictus theme in our WP website which is supposed to have a “Welcome Teaser” under the main logo on the top left of each page. Only thing is we can’t get this to appear in our website . In the widgets section we’ve tried to add the “Custom Welcome Teaser” to all sorts of pages with no luck. The only way to get it to appear seems to be to change the “Template” in the “Page Attribute” of a page to “Blog Template” – which would be ok if only we wouldn’t get the blog entry at the bottom of the page (we kept this template in the following page only: ). Could anyone help? We’ve tried to get in touch a few times with the provider (ThemeForest) but their customer support seems to be non-existent.
