Is in porge the prints. That’s four screens. Note that the link that opens the “home page” is directed to open the “post”. And the reverse occurs.

Thanks for the explanation. So if I understand correctly when you click You can determine the title and description for the homepage by editing the homepage itself, it takes you to edit the post page while You can determine the title and description for the posts page by editing the posts page itself, takes you to edit the homepage.

First, to have these options at all, it means you have set Your homepage displays to be A static page (select below) for the Homepage and Posts page. Please check that you have picked the correct pages as your Homepage and Posts page in WordPress > Settings > Readings.

This action you suggest, that’s the first thing I checked. Because everything is correct in this configuration, I opened this topic.

I ask you to observe and analyze the link of the print. It seems that the homepage refers to “post” and not page.

Your screenshot doesn’t say much. And I couldn’t replicate it on my test site. The link to edit the homepage itself takes me to edit the homepage, while the link to edit the posts page takes me to the posts page. Everything works accordingly.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
