Inventory management

    I’m setting up wordpress as a cms for me and my colleagues at work and I wish to include a system for organizing inventories. We hand out laptops to employees at our company for a specified period of time and wish to keep track of who borrowed what and for how long, including history of borrowed objects. So before I consider writing an inventory management plugin myself I’d like to know if anyone knows of an existing plugin that does this or something similar.

  • Well if you don’t find a plugin for that, what about using a different Category for each laptop then use the post to describe the laptop (description, Serial No, etc) then use the comments for each time the laptop is ‘checked-out’.
