• I use it at a basic level on all my sites. Not the paid Pro version. It’s the ONLY WordPress plugin of all the ones I use, out of quite a lot, that feels entitled to frequently show a red circle notification next to the plugin name in my WordPress dashboard that is commonly used to notify the user of essential, required updates or other essential admin issues but instead almost always turns out to be nothing more than a promotional ad to sell us an upgrade.

Two stars, folks, and I may be uninstalling it if this continues. Have you never done market research or user-feedback surveys to ask how annoying versus how profitable this practice is? Are you not aware that virtually NO other plugin makers engage in this practice? Are you not aware of the TIME and MONEY you are costing the end user because they feel compelled to chase down the source of that red notification, which in fact often takes a little extra time to even isolate with all your menu choices?

Please STOP it! I’m busy trying to run a few businesses! Each of those businesses is on the brink of massive funding and growth and very likely would have been going all in on many of your offerings soon, but with this intrusive, annoying promotional behavior there’s no way we’ll be doing that.
