Invalid UserName

    Whenever I call the api It gives the following response back on using email as a valid parameters too and the email address exist in the wordpress/woocommerce

    {“code”:”invalid_username”,”message”:”Unknown username. Check again or try your email address.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}

    Hu @anujagr11,

    Thanks for the report. Can you please tell me if you are getting this error when calling one of the API routes provided by this plugin and if so which one?

    This error is a WordPress error and not one generated by this plugin, and I’m not sure how it could return it unless it’s thrown somewhere by WordPress itself.

    Also, can you confirm that you are using a user’s email address to reset the password and that the email address you are providing does actually match a user registered in the WordPress install?

    Actually I was getting the error due to wordpress authentication problem. I was using invalid credentials in the api header. The problem has been solved Thanks for you reply
