Invalid URL and IFTTT and WordPress

For some reason I am investigating, IFTTT, the app that allows one to connect, in this case, WordPress and YouTube, is reporting, all of a sudden, “Unable to verify WordPress credentials. Please try again.”
I have tried everything I can think of in working to solve this issue. Anyone know what causes this? I notice that it only happens with my wordpress blog, not my Blogger.com blog, or Tumblr.
I reached out to IFTTT support and even Linden Tibbets, its CEO. No response. The alternatives to IFTTT that I know of are really not that because they’re tied to the YouTube API. So, if one hits a “quota” the new video-posts on your WordPress stop, or don’t happen. That’s not the case with ITFFF.
Plus, I have the pro version, and yet can’t get support. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear you haven’t heard back from their support! Not sure how you reached out to them, maybe you already tried this, but if you have IFTTT Pro then you should be able to reach support via the Help button on any ifttt.com page, they would probably be in the best position to advise on their integration.

Was the IFTTT + WordPress integration already working before by the way?
I’m wondering if this is a new error, or one that you ran into while setting up a new connection.

Please confirm if XML-RPC is enabled, and those other things they mention, so we can rule that out first! ??
